What's in Store for Doctor Who Season 4?
The Time Lord Has FIVE Companions?
Anyone in the United States who wants to see the Fourth Season of Doctor Who, the longest running television show in history, has to wait for a bit longer to see any episodes. The die-hard fans, those who can not wait, have already seen the new season and it is wonderful. Technically, theSeason Three saw The Doctor get a new companion in the form of Martha Jones, played by Freema Agyeman. After The Master wrecked havoc on the planet and her family, Martha decided to leave The Doctor at the end of last season. The last we saw Martha Jones, however, was with Torchwood, the spin-off show, where Martha had since completed her doctor training and now works for UNIT. Season Two saw The Doctor lose his first new companion, Rose Tyler (played by Billie Piper), when she became stranded on an alternate Earth.
Spoiler: Do NOT Read the Following Paragraph if you DO NOT WANT TO KNOW:
The BBC Confirmed that Billie Piper would return as Rose Tyler for three episodes this season, however after watching Episode 1 and seeing Rose Tyler at the end of the episode for only the most brief of moments, perhaps it's all a ploy. The Rose Tyler story line is by now way over, but will we have to see her popping up from time to time for just a moment or two and The Doctor never gets to see her? Sorry, just had to vent on that one.
