OMG-I'm Famous--My Oxytocin Moment

Fifteen minutes after the request for an interview, my pulse settled down to normal. "The Donald" wanted to interview me! Not just any Donald, but Donald Pennington, interviewer extraordinaire for Associated Content. Make sure you check out his web page. Sure
Oprah has a much broader audience reach. Sure Jay Leno has the prime nighttime high television viewer slot. But this interview about my writing and novels was sweet, endearing, and gave me one of those Oxytocin moments that friend AC content producer Mags has been teaching us about. Lucky for me, the heat diminished around my neck and my breathing returned to normal because friend Content Producer Paula has taught us the secret for building our endurance, breath deeply!

Two days later, one of those black government helicopters landed in the small cul-de-sac where I live. My husband rushed out and escorted Donald in. Just between me and you, The Donald is a bit eccentric, dresses like an urban cowboy with rhinestones on his black shirt, black jeans, and custom uhm, manure kickers--black leather boots inset with a red dye design. Yum. (My husband isn't watching me write this * blush *). Why he could be as hip as Kat, if he tried.

Anyway, things got off to a rather starchy start when I brought out the teapot, but again my husband saved me. "Get the man a brewski, for Pete's sake." I did so, and after that, we got along much better.

To be certain he got my answers straight, he offered up the standard form on a high-technology slate (man, he's got connections). While I perused what he intended to ask, he relaxed, placing his boots on my coffee table. Apparently he's not as urban as he looks, there were remnants of his visit to his cattle ranch. We didn't mind, my husband is having them bronzed for our mantle.
