I have a weakness for ice cream. It doesn't matter if it's scooped or an ice novelty, I love them all. Of course, I do have my favorites. These are the type of treats I remember from my childhood. Products like Push-Ups, Brown Cows, Creamsicles, and above all Nestle Drumsticks, are some of my favorites. There's just something magical about these products. But, what makes a Nestle Drumstick my favorite? Read on to find out what this foodie thinks about this ice cream classic.

Nestle Drumstick Review: Flavors

You can find several flavors of the Nestle Drumstick. The regular size is available in Vanilla, 50% Less Fat Caramel Cone, Chocolate, Vanilla Caramel, Vanilla Fudge, Chocolate Chunk, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Maple. The large variety is available in Chocolate Chunk, Strawberry Shortcake, Caramel Nut, and Super Drumstick Triple Chocolate.

Nestle Drumstick Review: Taste

The Nestle Drumstick has unbelievable flavor. My favorite is the original vanilla cone. I love the fact that it has a variety of different textures. The crunchy cone, creamy ice cream, chocolate shell, and nuts work together to create a wonderful flavor and combination of textures. With one bite, you're hooked.

Nestle Drumstick Review: Nutrition Facts

The original Nestle Drumstick has 320 calories, 19 grams of fat, 10 grams of saturated fat, 0.3 grams of trans-fat, 25mg of cholesterol, 95mg of sodium, 33 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 19 grams of sugar, 6 grams of protein, 8% of your daily Vitamin A, 6% of your daily calcium, and 6% of your daily iron. You obviously shouldn't eat a Nestle Drumstick everyday, but once a week is more than acceptable.

Nestle Drumstick Review: Price

An 8 pack of Nestle Drumstick will cost around $7. I must admit that I refuse to pay this price. I always wait until they go on sale and then I stock up. You can usually get pretty good deals this way. For example, my local grocery store has Nestle Drumsticks on sale for $3.50 this week.

Again, you give me a morning smile, Amy. Thank you. Believe it or not, you may have 'pushed me over the edge': for about the last three weeks, everytime I go to the grocery store, I have stopped at the ice cream freezers and almost, almost, picked up a package of drumsticks...now, I can delay and defer no longer ... in fact, I may pick up a package today (smile). Always, Michael

This reminds me of the ice creams my sister and I could buy from the local ice cream truck. Great stuff, Amy, thanks for the memories...
