Daniel Radcliffe Not Innocent Harry Potter

I know acting is pretending and it's an art form. Nudity is looked at as an art form when done in good taste. I like art and I like acting. I am married with two children and now that I'm over the twenties I don't really view nudity as art. If the person looks young my motherly instincts
kick in and I want to tell them to put their clothes on or I'll do it for them. Funny how we change at particular points of our life based on what stage of life we are in.

I read the news in Daniel Radcliffe to Make Broadway Debut http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,348499,00.html, in fox news,
stating Daniel Radcliffe had already done a play in London bearing some skin and now he will be on Broadway in September starring in Equus.

I guess one of the drawbacks to being a child actor is people always see you as the character you portrayed or that little child. Even in the pictures of him now, I don't necessarily see Harry Potter, but I do still see a little boy.

I now know I am old and turning into a prude. Most people are anxiously awaiting to watch him on Broadway and not for the acting. I could care less. Of course, I also don't like watching plays that people who have acted on television or in movies are in. The stage is totally different than a set and some actors aren't very good switching over. You expect the actors on stage to be more dramatical. They have to be louder so everyone can hear and their movements have to be bigger. Instead of a slight shrug, you have to raise your shoulders to your ears and then drop them to you stomach. The movements need to be exaggerated so everyone can see.

If you are wanting to get tickets for Equus it opens Sept. 25 and runs through Feb. 8, 2009. Previews start Sept. 5.
