If you like to eat, then Houston is the city for you! With restaurants of every cuisine imaginable lining all the city's streets, you're sure to find something that makes your mouth water. If it's Thai food you're craving, then you're definitely in luck because there are several great Thai restaurants in Houston. Here are the 8 top Thai restaurants in Houston:

Thai Gourmet: On Richmond in the heart of the city's big-time eating district, Thai Gourmet is the place to go for spicy Thai food in Houston. In fact, when ordering items you can choose your desired heat level from mild, medium, hot, or Thai hot if you're feeling adventurous. Their Green Curry Chicken and Drunken Noodles (stir fried with garlic, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and basil) are customer favorites, and Thai Gourmet offers many of their meat entrees in vegetarian options as well. Service is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. The prices are even better with most entrees under $12. Thai Gourmet is closed on Sunday but open for lunch and dinner the rest of the week.

Golden Room: Located on the ever trendy Montrose Blvd., Golden Room has been a crowd favorite for years. Golden Room is modeled after a Thai residence, giving the dining room a charming, romantic touch. The waitstaff is friendly and most are fluent in Thai. Red curry shrimp and chicken dishes are customer favorites, along with their steamed fresh snapper and beef satay. Most entrees are priced below $20. Golden Room is closed on Sundays but open for lunch and dinner all other days.

Patu: This small café is on Rice Blvd. in the classy Rice Village part of Houston and it offers up one of the best buffets of any Thai restaurant in Houston. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced at about $10 per person and includes a huge variety of meat and vegetarian options like. Buffet highlights include the chicken satay and steamed pork dumplings, while regular menu items like curries and seafood are popular picks. Patu has a nice outdoor patio for overflow seating and the service is great.
