Greg told me: "When I figure out what I want to be when I grow up, then I might consider growing up!" Enjoy this one folks!
DP: Please tell us a little about yourself; who you are, where you're from, etc.:
My name is Greg Johnson. Born in Leominster, MA but I consider my home town to be Harwich Port, MA.
I am currently living in Connecticut.
Recently, I was diagnosed with MS and I am unable to work a 'normal' job as a result of the symptoms.
I have been writing here on AC since February 2008.
My AC name is Greg.
DP: What type of personality type would you say you are?
I definitely march to the beat of my own drum. My personality is a delicate balance of several factors:
1.) I am a bit of a perfectionist.
2.) I am stubborn.
3.) I definitely tend to put off until tomorrow what should have been done today.
4.) I am generally a man of few words, unless I have something that I feel needs to be said.
5.) I will lead, but only if I am positive that I know the way.
On the flip side, I will stubble through on my own, hoping to find the way.
6.) To me, it is not better to look good than to feel good; I will opt for feeling good over looking good any day of the week, including Sunday!
DP: Please share with us a story about your favorite pet.
I grew up with a German Shepherd, Baron. When I was born, Baron was three years old.
He lived to be 15, so he was with me for the first 12 years of my life. An absolutely amazing dog.
While I have had some great pets since, none will ever stack up to Baron.
Currently, our household includes two rabbits, a cat, two conures (small, hook-bill parrots), two snakes, and 'Lucky' - a mouse that was intended to be snake food, but neither snake was terribly hungry.
DP: What do you like to read?
Mostly, I read science fiction and fantasy novels.
I am currently working my way through the Magic of Recluce series by L.E. Modesitt, Jr. for the second time. If I had to choose a favorite book, it would likely be The Demon Awakens, by R.A. Salvatore.
You can read my review of it at Epinions.
I like to read classic literature such as Paradise Lost, Beowulf, Dante's Inferno, and Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.
I also enjoy reading the Bible.
DP: What was/is your favorite subject in school?
