Horace the Musical Mouse

Once, in a little brick house, there lived a little mouse named Horace. Horace was by no means just an ordinary mouse, no way. He played the piano. Fancy those if you will, try to picture it while I tell this story about this very unique little mouse.

When Horace was just a little baby, his mama used to go out into the kitchen, of this fine little house, in search for food.

Well Horace, not wanting to be alone, would venture out with her in hopes to see some sights that might be a learning experience for him.

One day while out with his mama, Horace spotted something huge, in the living room of this house. Horace, not knowing much, thought this huge thing he saw might be another house, as big as it was, so he decided to investigate it.

He climbed up this spiral thing, until he reached this long thing, that to him looked like some kind of funny flat stairs. What a funny staircase it was too, with black and white steps. He decided he might as well try and walk these stairs, since he was there, and see where they led.

Horace's feet hit the first step, and he was amazed at the sound he heard. He took another step, and heard a different sound. This really got Horace so excited; he started running on these flat steps. Wheeeee! What a wonderful sound, he thought, and couldn't stop running back and forth.

From that day on, Horace spent most of his time on that huge, house of a thing; with the musical stairs...he could even play tunes that sounded lovely.

One day while the main owners of the house were home, Horace didn't know where they might be, but he wanted so badly to play on this musical stairs, he had found, so he came out of his little home, and ran up the spiral thing to get to the steps that he loved so much.

All of a sudden, he heard his steps playing something so beautiful; he stopped mid way to them and listened. There sitting poised on another big thing, (Horace didn't know what) was a lovely lady, and her hands were gliding over the steps that he loved.
