10 Things that are Fun to Microwave
There comes times in everybody's lives when you get a little bored. You're sitting around with nothing to do and your curiosity gets the best of you. That's when you think to yourself, "I wonder if so and so object will blow up in the microwave." Well, I've thought this before on many occasions and here are 10 things you can definitely put in a microwave.
Firecrackers
Definitely be careful if you decide to put a firecracker in your microwave. It will definitely blow up, after all that is what it is designed to do. I've never broken anything or gotten injured doing this but you might not want to try this one.
Marshmallow Peeps
Every year people buy those little peeps at Easter. Most people buy them to eat them but I buy them to put in the microwave. When Peeps are microwaved they actually expand into a huge puff of marshmallow. They usually end up about ten times bigger than they began.
CDs
When a CD is put in the microwave for a few seconds it begins to spark up and make cool effects. You should be warned that your CD might not work afterwards.
Soap
Soap is pretty cool when it is microwaved. If you decide to microwave a bar of soap it will begin to bubble up.
Light Bulbs
When light bulbs are put in a microwave they actually light up. Actually they flash on and off. It's pretty cool but be careful because if you leave them in the microwave too long they could possibly break.
Etch a Sketch
You're going to want to open a window for this one. When an Etch a Sketch is put in the microwave it starts to smoke up and eventually catches on fire and then goes up in smoke.
Eggs
If you microwave eggs without their shells then you can make a nice meal but I'm actually talking about microwaving eggs with the shell still on. When the egg gets hot off enough the shell will explode.
Credit Cards
Credit Cards don't anything special. The security seal does get ruined but there isn't much spark or anything. If you have a kid that owns a credit card you might want to do this anyway though.
Twinkies
The cream inside the Twinkie is sort of like the Peeps marshmallow. It starts to expand and it actually oozes out of the cake part of the Twinkie
