New Rumors About Television Personality Dr. Phil and His Wife Are Hitting the Blogosphere

New rumors are surfacing that television personality and best-selling author Dr. Phil McGraw and his wife of 31 years, Robin McGraw, may be close to divorce.

The self-help guru, 57, has had marital problems in the past. He married his first wife, homecoming queen Debbie Higgins, in 1970, only to divorce in 1973 due to what she characterized as a

 "domineering personality" and admitted extra-marital affairs.

While Access Hollywood has investigated the potential divorce of Dr. Phil McGraw and his wife Robin, they were unable to come to any conclusions. When they reached Dr. Phil and his staff, they were replied to with the standard "no comment."

Dr. Phil has been under fire in recent months for his unannounced hospital "intervention" with troubled celebrity Britney Spears, to which he later apologized.

Since 2001, Dr. Phil and his wife have lived in Beverly Hills, California, where they own a home valued over $10 million. The present rumors of divorce between Dr. Phil McGraw and his wife Robin are not the first.

Well, if Phil, (can't say Dr. Phil since his license is suspended, look it up) and Robin are having problems, it is personal and should be left between them. I just can't figure out how he can "treat" his guest when he can not practice in any state. I can not figure out either how he can pass off the polygraph test on his shows as 93% accurate when science has said you get the same results flipping a coin. I guess there is one born every minute.

I HOPE ITS NOT TRUE. I LOVE DR.PHIL AND ROBIN ,BUT IF ITS TRUE THEY REALLY HAD ME THINKING THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE PROBLEMS.BUT ANY WHO I REALLY DONT CARE. PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP THE FOCUS ON THERE OWN MERRAGE...AND MABY IT WILLL WORK....LOL

I hope that we can all realize that famous, wealthy, homeless or just going through a rough spot in marriage .............. just remember that we are all HUMAN! No one is perfect, nor is any marriage perfect. My focus is on the knowledge that Dr. Phil achieved through his own determination. I wish them the best, as I do my own marriage and hopefully more to come.

E,very marriage has it's problems!!!! Dr.Phil and Robin should hold their heads up high and keep shinning like you do!!!!No matter what you do people will talk I've been affected ALL my life with public gossip. I was raped when I was 15 years old, divorced, raped in a very small town there was aLOT of taliking. I was laughed at because my father was taken to jail. I remarried he ended up being a child molester again I was in a small town were many people would tell me my children would never be normal. My second daughter married when she and her husband were virgins and are happy!!! That is very hard to achieve this stage in age.I got a major surgery Iwas paralised due to the medication but I was wide awake and felt all of it till he cut my organs. I have been through a lot and tones of gossippers, I was not as much in the public eye as you both are. But for every 2 people gossiping about your marriage, there are about 10 who are defending you both especially here in Canada. Each day y

I hope it's not true! Not because they are famous, but because they are two people who have memories together in this world, and divorce is not a memory you want to stick in the picture album to be looked back upon. I love my marriage--yes it's bumpy once in a while, but I love the fact of having a best friend, lover, and partner to share life with. I think the McGraws need to put all the "hub-bub" aside, and start sharing life again. That's worth FRAMING and hanging on the wall to be looked at daily as a constant reminder.
