A kind hand and a gentle touch
Loving and kind words that mean so much
Teacher, cook, baker, and educator
Wisdom passed down to a future generation
Patience and love by the boatload
Sharing a favorite pastime such as the opera or the ballet
Baking chocolate chip cookies or reading a story on a rainy day
Mothers are the gem of all gems that sparkle and shine and they can create a $100 dress for 39.99.
Mothers are indefinable and irreplaceable and that's how it should be
Happy Mother's Day

An early day in the spring month of May
Seems like one day is never enough to celebrate all the things that moms do and all the things that they mean to their children and family
A box of chocolates, a bunch of flowers, a batch of her favorite cookies, or a homemade dinner seem inadequate ways to say "thank you" for all she has done
Even a written a poem doesn't express the meaning of mothers at their best
So, I will simply say, "Happy Mother's Day."
