I love movies. I look forward to seeing almost every movie that comes out. There's always a question of whether or not it's a good movie. As a seriously moviegoer, you've got to keep your mind open. Perhaps the most unlikely film will be your favorite film of the year. You never know. So I have gone ahead, taken a look at some movies coming out in May and I decided to give my readers a glimpse at some of those movies. Once you've read what I've got to say, it'll be up to you whether or not you want to see the films listed below.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Directed by Steven Spielberg
Written by David Koepp

Before you see the major return of Indiana Jones, let's look back at what we've seen the whip-wielding, hat-dressed archeologist do in the past.

In Raiders of The Lost Ark (1981), Indy fought the Nazis over the Ark of The Covenant. His girl was Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen). His enemy was fellow archeologist, Rene Belloq (Paul Freeman). And he never got to put the very dangerous Ark in the museum. Unquestionably, Raiders is the best of the series.

In The Temple of Doom (1984), Indy tried to save a bunch of children, fight some religious fanatics in India and keep himself from decking his annoying blond new girl, Wilhelmina 'Willie' Scott (Kate Capshaw). He had a small sidekick named, Short Round (Jonathan Ke Quan). Indy took us on a wild ride through some tunnels and punched the crap out of the bad guy on the cliff side. This was all over some stones with diamonds inside.

In The Last Crusade (1989), we thought this was Indy's final appearance on the big screen. He's got his father, Dr. Henry Jones Sr. (Sean Connery) with him. He's got his old pals, Sallah (John Rhys-Davies) and Dr. Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott) by his side. This time, Indy is back fighting the Nazis. This time, they are battling over the Holy Grail. Indy's old man gets shot and cured by the end of the movie, and everything seems to be right with the world. Well, this was not the last time we would see our iconic action hero.
