Let's face it, there are a ton of activities to do and places to go when visiting the Western United States. If you find yourself to be more of what they call an eco tourist, than you may be more interested in what is outside of those great cities of the west coast. There are some of the most breath taking and beautiful natural wonders in this part of the world and those of Zion National Park are no exception. Visitors of this national park like to visit this park along with Bryce Canyon Park and the Grand Canyon in one trip. The Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon Park are very near each other in the southwestern part of Utah with the Grand Canyon not too far away. Some of the most beautiful sites of this three park visit can be found in Zion National Park. Zion National Park is located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, the Great Basin, and the Mojave Desert regions. This is what allows for the many unique life zones to collide and give the visitors of this park a chance to see odd collisions of plant and animal life that is not usual anywhere else.

There are tons of animals and other life to enjoy while here. There are creatures like mountain lions, mule deer, bighorn sheep, golden eagles, and the reintroduced California condor. However, for many of the visitors that come here every year, the main attraction is a trip up the main canyon of the park to the Temple of Sinawava. You can get to this point in the park via a propane run free shuttle buses. These operate most of the year; more specifically through the months of April to the end of October. You may also drive your own vehicle up to this point the rest of the year, and the way to this temple include many gorgeous sights.
