McCain Will Never Be President: 10 Reasons Why

John McCain: Senator "Hothead"

Lots of folks in government and from his past are dropping comments that having McCain as a president frightens them. His out of control temper is a Washington "hot topic" and his foul mouth shocks even the unshockable. The Republicans have nominated someone
who is truly unelectable. I offer up a top ten list of reasons why it is impossible to elect or admire John McCain. Reason number 1 alone is a deal breaker for any presidential nominee. McCain will never be president.

Ten Reasons Why McCain Will Not Be Elected

McCain called his wife a "cunt" in front of 3 reporters, a campaign aide, and a consultant in Arizona according to a book about to be released: "The Real McCain" by Cliff Schecter. So many alarming facts about McCain's temper have been reported. Verbal abuse to one's wife is always a severe lapse in judgment; to abuse one's wife in front of reporters shows a temper so explosive all rationality has evaporated. Wife abuse is a deal breaker for most folks who vote. No one wants a man who calls his wife a cunt in charge of our nation.

McCain graduated 5th from the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy. His presidency following directly after Bush could be a sequel to the movie "Dumb and Dumber." If McCain did not have the fortitude to apply himself to studies, will he have the gravitas to be a strong president.... it is doubtful indeed.

McCain drops the "F-bomb" frequently and loudly, even while at work on the floor of the Senate. His frequent use of verbal abuse is troubling.

McCain changes his opinion on key issues like a kite drifting in the wind. Consistency is not a strong point for McCain. He was against the use of waterboarding torture until he changed his opinion to pander to the Bush administration.

McCain votes against issues created to help veterans with medical care and education.McCain is a veteran and POW and yet he does not support efforts to help veterans get the medical, psychological and educational help they need upon finishing their service or returning from a war. This is shameful, particularly since he has such a militaristic mindset and seems eager for yet another war with Iran.

This is VERY understanding. I really have no issue with john mccain.but i personaly think he would be a sucky preisdent. now we might be able to pull through with him if he won.but if for some weird reason mccain were to die,if sarah palin became president we all might as well bend over and kiss our ass's goodbyem, because that lassy has NO idea how to run a country!

Thank you for this article! I truly think that voting McCain into office would be one of the worst mistakes for this country. George Bush is the reason that the economy is the way it is and if McCain gets the presidency it will only get worse. I like that you pointed how dumb they both are, because I completely agree with. Great article!

Is anyone else wondering, "Isn't there another candidate?" Bad article, but good premise. It is much too aligned against McCain, and I'm saying this b/c i think the facts could speak for themselves, and could reach people still blind to the fact that voting for him is voting for the greed that has plundered this country and killed thousands as is. no knocks, just thinking as a fellow anti-stupidity/propaganda/bush/cheney/war/idiocracy/mccain--ist it might reach more people with more objective language, as we all know we'll be canadien immigrants within the next year if another one of "those a-holes- become elected. GO NADER! hahahaha.

Oh, yikes, I had been thinking McCain wouldn't be "so bad" if he won--compared to Bush, anyway--but now I see he would be JUST as bad (he's kinda like Bush and Cheney rolled into one!) I'm voting for Miss Hillary, but if Obama becomes the nominee I will feel comfortable with him, too. The Dems need to get the word out about ol' Scary McTemperPants!

We are both in total agreement that John McCain would be abysmal as the President. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of Americans who believe that Iraq had something to do with 911. We have Americans who believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. We have Americans who believe that John McCain is a maverick and an independent thinker. We have Americans who overwhelming believe we are headed in the wrong direction and that the war was wrong. We have a national media that is not critical of John McCain in the same way that they are of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In other words, John McCain has a layer of Teflon coating. If America wants a clone of President Bush, they couldn't choose a better leader than John McCain. Heaven help our country if he becomes elected.

I'll bet some folks will vote for him for the very reasons you just listed Juia! Like you, I find these things to be very disturbing, but there are plenty of people in this country who think and behave like McCain and will feel validated and empowered if he becomes our country's next leader. How comforting is that?

Wow, J! I must have been under Iraq... What are the sources for your allegations (seriously, I'd like to read and follow up on them)? M

I think you'd be a little irritable if you spent years in a POW camp, just a hunch though.

Mark my words -- it's gonna be a McCain landslide. (Now don't anybody interpret that as me being a McCain supporter and blast me -- I'm just making a prediction.)...:>)
