Somedays I Feel Love, Others I Wonder

Most days I know you care
The other day I wonder where
All the feelings went and why
These days all I can do is cry

I always ask if we're still o.k.
Especially on day like today
Everything had been perfect lately
The past days you've been moody
Never knowing what I had done
To be pushed away, all alone

Why are things so perfect most of the time
Then a few weeks pass and all love fades away
And you treat me like I've committed a crime
Doing all I could, Giving my best every day

Every day, no matter what, every little thing I do
You find fault within
Sometimes I just can't understand you
Wondering how this all came about, did begin
Making you disappointed in me, so blue
The answer I may never know
Should I stay, should I go

I know I took the full day quite easy
To you, I was being nothing but lazy
With all the pain I endure every day
You'll never understand, I say
Today I deserved a break
Tomorrow, Eight interviews, I take

Thirteen, I think, and homework all this week
All of this new to me, I do honestly speak
Everything I do is to make a future
Brighter and better for both of us
I don't know why you must torture
When all the time, my butt I bust

Somehow you are still unhappy, I cannot resolve
Wishing all the problems away, I could solve
Maybe I will never know how you feel
Whether you care, what's your appeal?
What causes you fear in caring for me?
Afraid if you do, I will then leave

I assure you here is where I always will stay
You only have to trust the words that I say
My love for you is nothing but pure
Years past you should know for sure

The only thing I have left is to keep trying
Hoping that one day soon you'll love me too
Before too many tears are shed crying
One day, hopefully, I'll hear the words, "I love you"

Until that day comes; patience my virtue
Trying to erase the pain I do go through
When you act the way you did today
Wondering if it's worth it, I do stay

Sweetie, sometimes you just have to stop trying so hard. Sometimes it isn't you. This is beautiful and sad. be hopeful and believe that you will get through it. Mostly accept yourself and know that you are loved.
