My story may be hard to believe, but I have the pictures to prove it. It all started with me getting a random email from MTV asking if I wanted to go to the MTV Music Awards red carpet. I did a quick double take and responded to the email as quickly as possible. Then came the nervous wait to see if I sent my email in time. I’m in Times Square and I get a call, its MTV telling me I will be going to the MTV awards, and get to go inside as a seat filler. First reaction was a smile and then I was like wow that’s crazy.

Fast forward to the day of the show. My guest and I had to be at the building across the street from Radio City Music Hall 3:30. We got there like 3:10, line was long, but a few minutes the line got extremely long. The Line was full with people dressed up, girls with short skirts and tight outfits, guys with the best buttons ups they could find. There were strict restrictions, no bags, no purses, no jeans, no sneakers and no cameras. The rules were not strictly enforced except for no bags. The place was flooded with cops and only certain vehicles had access to the street.

So after the long line we got in, got wristbands and we all had to guy into this small room and wait for about an hour. They had some free snacks, and all the chairs were taken. It was tight and cramped in there, I couldn’t wait to get out. So about 5:30 they take us all out and we go across the street and enter Radio City Music Hall.
