What is ChaCha?
ChaCha is a guide assisted search engine. You can choose to search on your own, or opt to have a guide help you find something. There is no cost to the user, and the guide can help you locate information you may not be able to have found. It is a quick and easy way to get help with what you are looking for!

How does ChaCha work?
Go to ChaCha.com and click on search or search with a guide, enter in what you are searching for and find your information! If you choose to search with a guide, the guide will ask you specifically what you are looking for and relevant information will be displayed onto your screen. The Guide has an application on their desktop that allows them to highlight pertinent information and send you this along with the site that they found it at!

How often do I have to sign on to work? Is there a requirement?
You may sign in as often as you like. There are no schedules or set rules as to when you have to sign on. You can sign on for an hour in the morning, maybe three hours in the afternoon; maybe you only have a few hours available on the evening. Log on when you are available for searches; log off when you are ready to! Either way, you'll be paid each time you do an active search!

How much does ChaCha pay?
ChaCha pays you up to $5.00 an hour for active searching. You also are paid while training others. When you reach "elite" status in a word you are trained in, you can earn up to $10.00 per active searching.

What are the different levels on ChaCha?
Apprentice is training and is non-paid at this time, pro is paid at approximately $5.00 for hour you spend searching. (It does not take long to go from Apprentice to Pro, don't worry!) Being in "available" mode is not paid. You must be actively searching to be paid. You will see your earnings increase after each search you do.

They just announced they are up to 10,000 guides, and they are about to go into Beta mode, so I'd keep an eye out for them, because they spoke of expanding and continual growth!

My kids used ChaCha the other day for homework. They liked interacting with somebody.
