Ten Pounds Lighter in Three Days - the Three-Day Diet Revealed

You Can Loose Ten Pounds of Body Fat in Three Days with This Diet

There I was, twelve years old and weighing over 200 pounds. I was a wreck, my self-confidence was down the drain, and my entire outlook on life was bleak. When you are at such a young age and are having to go through the experience of having so much extra weight on your body, it not
only drains your physically or emotionally. I had to do something in order to gain my life back, or what life I had at twelve years old.

I had tried literally every diet on the market. Sugar Busters, Dr. Atkins, etc. However, none of them seemed to work. My doctor said that it was because I was so young my body didn't want to respond to the diets. However, I knew that my body also didn't want to have over 100 extra pounds resting on top of it. It wasn't until one day that my history teacher came into the classroom and told me about this diet. It was developed by the American Heart Association for cardiac patients who were needing to loose actual body fat, not water weight, before surgery.

So what is this diet? Well, it is simply called The Three-Day Diet. I know, it doesn't sound that impressive, but don't always judge something's merit by its name. During the process of the diet, you will loose 10 pounds of actual body fat. But how? Well, it happens through a chemical reaction due to the type of foods that you are eating. When you are on this diet, you absolutely know that you are dieting, however, after the first day you can absolutely tell that it is working.

In only four months I lost over 90 pounds by doing this diet. Below is the recipe and grocery list, as well the directions. Absolutely follow the plan, and you will loose 10 pounds of actual body fat!

Black Coffee or Tea

OK, I started out at 166lbs, Day 1 I ate 0 carbs, then the next day started this diet. I did not substitute ANYTHING...even though I HATE beets. I am amazed to say the morning after day 3, I weigh 156.2lbs. My ggoal weight is 145, so I will continue this every 3 days. At a few points, I was extremely cranky and hungry but I know that if you want to succseed you have to SACRIFICE!!! I have 3 kiddos, and at my highest weight was 210. I got the first 50lbs. off on Atkins, then was stuck at 155-160 for 5 months. I am going to use this diet to blast me through!! IT DOES WORK!!!

Since my job change a couple of years ago, I put 10 lbs back on and have struggling with it since. The reason was that I now work from home at my desk, as opposed to all the physical activity I was getting in my day to day routine of getting up, getting ready for work, walking around the office, etc. Even though I added regulsr workouts, I was STILL not able to take the weight off quickly. When I spoke to a nutritionist friend, the fat/water ration information was what she gave me. Lower weight takes longer to lose the same number of pounds than someone starting out at a higher weight. Hope that helps.

All... please remember this is only a jump start to a healthy eating plan. There is a lot of controversy over it, but realistically it is only a method to a means... learning to balance both healthy foods and portion control. Please do NOT get discouraged if you do not lose 10 lbs. The one thing no one seems to have mentioned (though I may have missed it), is that your STARTING weight will make a difference in how much you lose. If you are at a higher weight, the 10 lbs will come off quickly regardless because the fat/water ratio is always higher when you weigh more. If you weigh LESS, you will have less water to lose contained in your body... therefore you may only lose 4 or 5 lbs. I speak from experience. At one time I weighed close to 300 pounds. When I decided to seriously do something about it and started eating healthier and with proper portions, the weight came off quickly. When I reached my goal weight (135 lbs), I was able to maintain for a number of years.
