The holiday season is filled with terrific foods and goodies. The scent of freshly baked cookies fills your home. Marvelous meals are made for those fancy Christmas parties. Isn’t it time to have some fun with food?

Kids and adults alike will love these fabulous ideas. There is no end to the great food this season. Fun ideas with food are just as abundant. Whether you make food for gifts, or just enjoy the experience of cooking and the wonderful product that results, here are some ideas for you.

Everyone loves cookies! Put on your chef’s hat and don an apron. Whip up some quick and easy cookies with Pillsbury’s ready to bake cookie dough in various delicious flavors. Wrap them with colored Reynolds Wrap and tie with a beautiful bow. This is perfect for anyone on your holiday list. Be certain to save some for Santa and Rudolph!

Make a cute reindeer cookie. Place peanut butter cookie dough on a cookie sheet as described in the directions on the package. In the center of the cookie, place one Red Hot candy. Use two tollhouse chocolate chip morsels for eyes. Two tiny twist pretzels placed at the top of the cookie, one to the right, and one towards the left, make perfect antlers. Bake as directed on the package.

Simply using some inexpensive baking pans with holiday shapes, will spruce up any ordinary treat. Mix up a batch of Betty Crocker Original Brownie Mix following the directions on the box. Carefully, pour the brownie mixture into the baking pan. If pouring the batter becomes messy, consider using a large spoon to transport the mixture from the large bowl to the baking sheet. Toss a batch of these festive brownies into a decorative tin for the perfect gift to give any chocolate lover on your list.

Buy some fudge or peanut brittle at Kroger this year. Pick up a bag of holiday Hershey kisses. A small holiday gift bag will wrap this gift right up for you. A touch of tissue and pretty ribbon will complete this package.
