Every time I go into the local Target, I find myself quickly looking through the food aisles for something interesting and different. Usually, I think about purchasing something from the Archer Farms line, though I always seem to talk myself out of it before I make it to the checkout line. At least until my last trip I managed this. On my most recent trip to Target, I found myself standing in line with two Archer Farms products. One of these was the Banana Split Chewy Granola Snack Bites.

I should start off by saying that the banana spit is one of my favorite ice cream treats. I just love the combination of all the flavors and while mixing vanilla ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, pineapple, cherry, and nuts might not be everyone's idea of a good thing I, I just can't seem to pass up anything that even remotely resembles this ice cream concoction. So, of course, when I saw these bite size granola bars setting on the shelf in their box I had to buy them.

I made it all the way to the car before I was ripping the box open. I just couldn't wait to try the yummy goodness that I hoped to find inside the box. Each box contains 15 individually wrapped Banana Split Chewy Granola Snack Bites. Each Snack Bite is approximately the side of miniature candy bars that are so popular for Easter and Halloween. The size makes them perfect for a quick pick me up and would easily fit in a child's lunch box or in the bottom of your purse.

Opening the package these Banana Split Chewy Granola Snack Bites look like your traditional granola bar only the bottom of the bar has been dipped in chocolate. They slightly resemble the picture on the box though, that's usually the case. You can see under careful examination that there appear to be small chunks of dried cherries, and the occasion piece of dried banana, however, if you are looking for the strawberry and pineapple chunks you will have to keep looking.
