L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Refreshing Eye Makeup Remover, Oil-Free: Review
I absolutely hate using oil bases eye makeup removal products. They not only feel absolutely disgusting on my skin, but they also leave behind a high gloss greasy substance that makes for the perfect breeding ground for break outs.
When I came across L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Refreshing Eye Makeup Remover, Oil-Free , and noticed it was water based, and oil free, I was happy to give it a try. Oil free removers in my parts are hard to come by. It turns out that whenever I go looking for an
oil free remover, the shelves are wiped clean.
Anyhow,L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Refreshing Eye Makeup Remover, Oil-Free comes in a very attractive blue see through plastic container. There is really not much liquid in the container; especially seeing how I apply eye makeup daily.
The lid is a white screw on top, that I was not thrilled with. I would have preferred a click up cap, with a squeeze application. I find that screw off lids, and liquid do not mix, as it is much easier to spill it and loose all of the liquid; where a squeeze bottle would allow precise application onto a cotton swap, or pad.
I purchased it anyway, and I paid close to $6.00 for the bottle. I figured as soon as I got home, I would put it to use.
My Use:
I got a soft cotton ball and opened the bottle of L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Refreshing Eye Makeup Remover, Oil-Free. I tipped the bottle over and saturated the cotton ball. You really have to be careful when doing this, because if your hand slips, you WILL loose all of the Makeup Remover.
I began with one eye. I worked at wiping away my black eyeliner. Everything seemed to be going well, as the cotton ball became was now dirty and filled with my eye liner. I had to use another cotton ball to remove excess eyeliner that the first attempt had missed. All in all it only took about a minute to remove every last drop of eyeliner.
Last:
I've been using L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Refreshing Eye Makeup Remover, Oil-Free for over a year now. All in all the entire 4 ounce bottle will last about a month and a half, depending on how often you use it. I use mine on a daily basis.
