She started out with her always amazing voice which just built up the anticipation for her to do something huge with it. Perhaps it wasn't the best song choice for her personality which is deep and edgy. It seemed that she was pandering somewhat and trying to please Mariah instead of her fans and the judges and, most importantly, herself.
She could have and should have taken this song to new heights of emotion. She could have and should have released what God gave her. But, this one performance has taken her out of the top and dropped her just above Jason Castro. Her new competition to stay alive? Syesha Mercado. Carly still should not be voted off though I expect to see her in the bottom three tomorrow night during the results show.
