Come Along Spring

A little bit of sunshine peaks through.
It's been the darkest of days,
With the skies so cloudy and blue.

The blooms of the flowers try to speak,
While the water still runs cool through the creek.

Winds are blowing, cold, and chilly.
You still run inside, bundled in a winter coat,
Hoping for some hot cocoa or tea.

Our hearts are hoping
And we come together in prayer,
Please spring; we can hear your whispers chanting in the air.
A warm breeze sneaks in,
I can feel you tickle my chin.

It won't be long...
Nature is calling,
I know soon, spring will be bringing its beauty and warmth right along.
