The blue-eyed trait passed down
Star Trek reruns
Star Trek reruns
The high five of the 86' World Series,
A Brooklyn Accent in Country Boots,
The irony of country music in New York City,
Tasmanian Devil laugh,
Just for Men,
The keeper of commitments and softball practice
Bobble heads nodding in approval,
Just for Men all over again,
The countdown begins;
a succession of mini-vans
driving towards retirement,
but never driving away from my heart

This is so original and personal and just a wonderful read. The Star Trek reruns (and so clever to use that line twice) , the Bobble Heads and all the rest. This poem really makes the uniqueness of your Dad shine. :)
