Living in Seattle gives you a great selection of many great restaurants. I love ethnic food, especially Japanese. There are many different Japanese restaurants around Seattle, Washington. These are the very best Japanese restaurants in Seattle, you wont be disappointed if you try one of these Japanese restaurants.

Ai Japanese Restaurant- This is located in Wallingford near the ever popular Musashi's, but this restaurant is usually less crowded and just as good. They have great specials that include soup, salad, a California roll, rice, and a choice of two entrees from a huge list. Their special is a huge amount of food and a great deal at only $8.95 for dinner or $6.90 for lunch. They also always have one appetizer tat is served on the house. They have a very extensive menu with many choices from sushi to donburi and teriyaki. Their pickled cabbage appetizer is very unique and good, I have been pleased with everything I have ordered here.

Kiku Tempura House- This is a great place for a good and cheap meal in the university district. They serve large portions at very cheap prices so be prepared that during lunch and dinner times it can be quite busy. If you want to avoid the crowds you can always get your food to-go. The have all the simple Japanese favorites here. They have beef and chicken teriyaki over rice, and as you would expect from their name their tempura is excellent. I love the tempura at Kiku, it is light and tasty, not oily at all. If you are looking for simple Japanese food this is the perfect place for you.

Mashiko- This is one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Seattle for a reason. They are often very crowded, but well worth the wait. The have enormous portions that you could easily split. They have a large selection of sushi, they even have a few specialty hand rolls that you won't find anywhere else in town. The offer a bento dinner that changes daily, but is always a bargain. The bento dinner usually includes a good variety often including tempura, sushi, teriyaki, with rice and soup. There is something for everyone on this menu, even kids are sure to find something they will love.
