The Seduction of Teenaged Jud Thorensen; Installment 1

In her villa on Crete, Georgina Binakas finished off her sumptuous birthday meal, prepared by Athina, her mother-in-law. She had turned thirty-two. Married for nearly seventeen years to David, owner of Alpha-Omega Pharmakon, she was still childless. She had supposed that the problem lay with herself since David's first wife had borne a son, who had later died in a car crash with his mother. But doctor exams had shown her to be healthy, fertile, and capable of pregnancy. Georgina suspected that David had become sterile. But she did not have the heart to tell her Greek husband that his masculinity was in question--even though they both desperately wanted a son.

Georgina glanced across the dining table at her mother-in-law. As Athina returned her look and smiled, Georgina said, "Thank you for a special day."

"You're welcome. I know you wish David were here."

"I called Ariadne. She invited me over for the evening. Do you mind?"

Athina looked at her glamorous daughter-n-law, whose Minoan blood had rendered her taller than most Cretan women. As she admired Georgina's long, glossy black hair, symmetrical features, and curvaceous figure in a sleek red dress, she said, "Watch out for her husband."

"Don't worry. If I can handle American men, I can certainly handle Greek men." Georgina was raised in California, where she had met David on one of his business trips.

As Athina left the room and Leesa, the part-time maid, entered to clean up, Georgina looked through the picture window at the Mediterranean Sea, lit by dying light and whipped by the wind. She then rose to her feet and went upstairs to freshen her makeup. She hurriedly donned a lined raincoat, went to the underground garage, and climbed into one of the black Mercedes sedans.
