I've been speaking Spanish all my life and I always stumble across the people that know Spanish but just cant pronounce it. It makes me laugh because how can it be possible that I learn English just as easy. Well I'm not implying anything bad but I see the complications of the English language just a small step less than the Spanish language. Yes I admit that it took plenty of practice learning English, but the way I see others struggle to learn Spanish it's not the same level.

But here are some tips that could help you improve:

1. Always consider the rules of the Spanish language, I know that every so often you try to slide by it and it can absolutely ruin your progress and performance.
Ex. When saying "key" its spelled llave and I already know that many people don't follow the rule of the double L. The double L is pronounced like a y being used in "yard". And that is a dramatic difference in the 2 pronunciations, and much easier to understand. This example only applies to less experienced Spanish learners, but should be taken seriously if you are looking forward to learning Spanish.

2. I know a tricky one is the double r, RR, but its easy to learn if you already cant do it. It feels weird at first like its impossible to do and you know you cant do it, but with a little practice you will can learn it, and along with the many words that use this RR. What you want to do is start by making the English r sound. Notice that the rim of your tongue is touching you upper gum and the top of your teeth. Well its simple all you got to do is begin making the R sound and touch the roof of your mouth with the tip of your tongue(make sure you leave no gapes between the roof of your mouth and the tip of your tongue to get the rolling sound). With a little practice of this method you will be able to pronounce rojo(re) and perro(dog).

3. One simple thing to remember when your speaking Spanish is the expansion of the word "the", used in Spanish as "el" or "la". This rule is quite simple to learn its just remembering that can get you stuck, i wouldn't say its an important part of the Spanish language to learn. This rule helps make a conversation more pleasant.
