Transportation
Confirm the time, date and address with your transportation provider. This should be done during the initial agreement, one or two days before and the day of your prom. It is an important task to complete whether you are using a company that provides transportation for proms or not. Verifying that transportation will be provided in the days leading up to the prom is to make sure that you are still on the provider's radar for your chosen date and time. Confirming that this transportation will be provided when that day comes can give you additional peace of mind knowing that everything is in place.
These verifications on the days leading up to prom night will also let you know if transportation has to be provided elsewhere. That is why a backup method of prom night transportation should b planned well in advance. If you cannot get a ride to the prom, alternative methods such as public transportation and taxis are one way to get there. Still, that depends if these methods are available in the area where you live. They also may not be the coolest ways to attend your prom. Taking a taxicab to the prom may only be hip in certain areas where that is considered a normal form of transportation. These areas include places like New York City.
