Health Factor
I have purchased Homegirls potato chips numerous times. However, it was only recently that I paid attention to how this snack food product measures up when it comes to health. Homegirls Potato Chips has 150 calories. Considering that many snack food products contain more calories, this could be viewed as a modest amount. Still, the calorie count is significantly high for one bag of chips. The daily value count when it comes to fat is 15% for Homegirls Potato chips. There is 12% of saturate fat in this snack food product.

I was delighted to find out that Homegirls Potato Chips contain zero cholesterol. The snack food is also low in sodium. This is a plus for convenient potato chips given that many products in the same category are loaded with sodium. Homegirls Potato chips contain more Vitamin C than anything else on the nutritional side. There is a very small amount of protein and Iron, but not enough to purchase this just for health benefits.

Quality
I have had both good and bad experiences with my purchase of Homegirls potato chips. Some bags contain a nice amount of chips that look like they were well produced. There have been other times where I purchased this snack food product and found burnt potato chips in the bag. Homegirls Potato chips are seasoned lightly most of the time. Once you get down to the bottom of the bag, some of the smaller potato chips are covered in seasoning. This can be annoying at times, but is tolerable. Homegirls potato chips seem to only be available in single-serve packages.

Takeaways
  • Homegirls potato chips do not seem to be an unhealthy snack food item.
  • This snack food product may not be sold at all grocery stores.
  • Homegirls potato chips provide encouraging and positive messages for women.
