The romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall is supposed to act as the new Knocked Up. I suppose it does achieve this, though I was not too big of a fan of Knocked Up, regardless, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is in no way painful to sit through.

I suppose the first real scene that is hilarious is when Sarah comes back to her boyfriend after a long business trip only to break-up with him. The scene introduces the boyfriend, Peter, as a lazy slob who rushes to clean up the house before Sarah Marshall returns. Once she returns, Peter is finishing up a shower. He tries to seduce her in that all too typical way by unfastening his towel and shaking his crotch region. The funny part is hearing the soft slap of the guy's penis hitting each thigh as his hips shakes.

Once Sarah confesses that she is leaving Peter, the director does not shy away from displaying Peter's penis. The audience gets a brief glimpse, however, when Peter is allowed to add to the dialogue, there's another glimpse at the man's member. So in the dialogue between this attractive actress and a naked song-composer, you see penis fifty percent of the time. It's just a nudy part that the director knew the audience would not help but feel gitty like a schoolgirl.

The movie progresses into a journey for a man trying to forget about his ex girlfriend. He does this by having sex with as many women as possible. He first fornicates with a pretty typical woman that sees Peter cry afterwards, the second woman repeats the exact same moans until she says in a very monotone voice, "I just came," and the last is a kinky little lady that keeps saying hi and then asks Peter if he would like to gag her. "Do you have a gag?" Peter asks. "Yes, and handcuffs."
