How to describe her?

She is a woman with an everlasting heart.
She loves and gives from the depths of her being.
She is unassuming,
much like a wallflower.
But those who are touched by her,
know that she is more like a field of daffodils,
for she brightens a room without saying a word.
For her arms are like the petals of the daffodil -
trumpeting open to touch one person at a time
with gentle loving kindness and caring thoughtfulness -
This is just who she is.

Though - her heart aches.
She mourns her love lost too soon.
Her heart will not let her feel happiness or joy anymore.
She lives her life for others, not for herself.
Her mind will not allow her heart to heal.
Her heart still bleeds like an open wound
in need of stitches,
but she will not let anyone in to help her.
Maybe she is afraid of living life without him.
She goes through the motions of life but is not living life.
This is just who she is.

He would want her to be happy.
He would want her heart to heal.
He would love to see her laugh like the "old days"
while making new memories,
though never forgetting the old.
