Gods Comfort During a Car Crash!

God Can and Will Deliver a Person Out of Anything

At church, the teachings had been on the topic that God can deliver you out of anything. There were also testimonies about near car crashes. When I had received my daily devotional, it said the words, no matter how terrible, no matter what is happening, God can and will deliver you out of it.

One morning on my way to work as I was approaching the bridge, I noticed something in my lane on the road. It was a metal ladder that was fully extended and laying on its side. Its height was to much for my truck to go over, so I had decided to switch lanes. I switched to the left while slowing down and missed it. I then started another lane switch back to the right lane.

Switching back into the right lane proved to be a mistake. Before my lane switch was complete I was struck in the back. On impact the back window busted, and my truck was moving faster than before. During the crash, I was reminded that God had me in his hands, and that I was going to be just fine.

I would not turn my head because I had been struck by a bolt. I saw the entire crash looking straight out the front. Also, I did not try to get control of my truck, because I had decided I should just let my truck run its course.

During the crash, my truck started heading towards the side of the bridge. While looking at the blue sky, a voice told me the rail would catch me.

After hitting the rail and spinning backwards, I still would not turn my head, but I was in a position to look down the road backwards. I was looking to see if I was going to get hit from another car. Looking down the road, I saw the traffic coming to a stop.

I thank God there happened to be a medic on the scene. The medic gave me comfort when I allowed him to hold my head because of the bolt. Some time later after the wreck, I went into shock and was hyperventilating. After I had calmed down, the rescue took me to the nearest hospital.
