Social Dramas Existing Currently in Society

Shades of a tasteless periwinkle
drape around the room
The melancholia yellow wallpaper
becomes the enveloping tomb

Riding a wicked wild waterfall
somewhere over the rainbow
But in this tale no dreams come true
No serendipitous gumdrops fall off the giving tree Just more bloodshed
It all comes up the color red

Senseless brutality shed around the world
Passed from herder to flock
No rhyme or reason to this plot

The knowledge passes like falling dominos
prearranged in a twisted fortuitous path
Each meticulous lie is sculpted
then perpetuated and pounded
Into the Childs mind
So intimately it inevitably affects the third eye

How do we expect our generations to see
When each year the message gets more
convoluted, corrupted, twisted, and turned
Until the truth is a lie
And the lies resemble the truth
But the truth actually lies inside the lies

These are the times
when mass perception turns into mass deception
Where barren wastelands of violence roam the earth
circled by invisible vultures
Walking with the six-headed dog that jumped straight from
the immortal pages of revelations

Beckoning the masses to walk
with materialism tucked in their pockets
Tucked away with all the essential lies
that translate into the corrupted cultures intrinsic structures

These are now are children’s training grounds
The grounds on which they play
The grounds on which we expect our civilization to thrive
And these are the grounds on which our society will surely die
