Benny the Bully- the Chicago Bulls Mascot Benny the Bull
According to Yahoo Sports, another animal has maimed or at least hurt an innocent onlooker, which I take the "innocent" onlooker lightly. Benny the Bull gets sued for high-five gone awry was an article about the Chicago
Bulls' mascot, Benny the Bull portrayed by Barry Anderson. I don't think they will kill Benny the Bull but it looks like he will have to go to court.
It's not ironic enough that the mascot is being sued while we are hearing of all the wild animal attacks, but to make it better it's a doctor that is suing. Do you think this doctor has been sued fraudulently? He isn't a physical doctor but a dentist, Dr. Don Kalant Sr.
According to this article Dr. Kalant Sr. was sitting near courtside on Feb. 12 when Dr. Kalant Sr. raised his arm for a high-five from the mascot, Benny the Bull. Instead of slapping Kalant's palm, Anderson, aka Benny the Bull, grabbed Dr. Kalant's arm as he fell forward, supposedly hyper extending Kalant's arm and rupturing his biceps muscle according to the lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court. With this being said we also need to know that Dr. Don Kalant Sr. stayed for the rest of the game but later had surgery and could miss as much as four months of work.
If you are hurt to the point of needing surgery how could you sit through a basketball game? Let's also look at the fact Dr. Don Kalant Sr. originated the contact. If anything Benny the Bull, aka Barry Anderson should be suing Dr. Kalant, Sr. for causing him harm, and making him fall. Instead, Kalant is seeking unspecified damages for medical bills, physical pain and lost earnings. The lawsuit claims Anderson was negligent in either falling forward while grabbing a fan's hand or running out of control through the crowd according to the Chicago Tribune.
I would like to thank Dr. Kalant Sr. for:
1. Using taxpayers' money for such a ridiculous lawsuit. You are a Doctor so you know accident happens. That's what insurance is for. I am still in doubt that this even occurred with all the surrounding evidence.
