How to Fully Utilize Google's Features: Part 1

Google has risen in the search engine ranks over the years. Going from being an obscure competitor of Yahoo, to being one of the more popular search options. A lot of people use Google, but few take full advantage of this overachiever.

Google is the 411.

Lets say you were wondering about the birthplace of an old school TV celeb. Simply type in "birthplace William Shatner". above the normal search results will be the location(Montreal, Canada) and the source
 from which Google found said information.

Other search commands include population, die and president. If you want to know city a particular area code belongs to, just type the code into the Google search field. To find movie information, type the word "movie:" followed by its title. reviews and show times are available.

to find the time in other locations, type "what time is it in" followed by the city/state/ country name.

Google = Mathematician.

Everyone probably knows already that Google can do basic math equations. Beyond addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, Google can execute logarithmic functions, inverse hyperbolic functions and trigonometry. Save money by not buying an overly expensive calculator, just use Google instead.

It also knows mathematical and scientific constants. Type search terms like "mass of the sun", "pi", "earth gravity", "Speed of Light" and Google will present the answer above normal search results. It can also convert units of measure. Example: Type "20 usd in yen".
