How to Look Your Best During Your Wedding Day

Time-test Practical Tips to Look Your Best

Although the bride and groom are the main characters of their wedding, the bride is actually the real star of her wedding. This is probably because she is all prepped up and pampered and she is almost always the most stared at during the entire wedding
(unless of course somebody will intentionally upstage her).

There are all sorts of preparations for the wedding, but it is best to take these things into consideration:

1. Do not undergo a major job on your face and bodies about two weeks before the wedding day. Do not drastically bleach to lighten skin or change hair color (unless that is really your intention). If you have major changes to do in your body, do it at least 6 months before, so that your family and friends can adjust to your new look.

2. Do not curl or straighten your hair near the big day. Some freak accident may happen at the salon and your hair will be a disaster.

3. If you don't have nice skin and you can afford to make corrections, do visit a reputable dermatologist at least 6 months before and have facials regularly. As the wedding day nears, you become more stressful and prone to break outs. Clean and clear skin needs to be taken care of. But don't use products that you are not familiar with as you may get allergic reactions.

4. As much as possible, don't stay up too late the week before the wedding. Your friends or family will understand that you are getting married. It pays to get enough sleep so that your skin will have a natural glow, your eyes are bright, and you don't have eye bags or dark circles around your eyes. Of course, these may be hidden by make up, but it is best to look fresh so that not much hiding will be done.

5. For fresh nails, have them done the day before.

6. Do get those body scrubs and foot scrubs if you can afford it. You would want to be flawless on your big day and your big night. *wink*

7. If you are stressed from the preparations, do get a massage.
