Top 10 Cartoon Sex Symbols
The female cartoon characters on this list have been animated to be cartoon bad girls, and they are all sexual in their own unique ways. They all have one thing in common: their sexuality has created an allure with their viewers, and they have all pushed the envelope when it comes to
animated entertainment. Here are 10 of the girls that have made animation a little more naughty:
Betty Boop
She paved the way for the other sexy women characters of cartoon-dom to come. Her innocent demeanor and high-pitched voice mismatched her sexy body and walk, making her even more popular with viewers. Before the Production Code took effect, animators sexed up Ms. Boop's cartoons as much as they could without being offensive. It's interesting to note that her character was originally drawn as a somewhat ugly poodle-like character, before new animators turned her into the doe-eyed, spit-curled, curvaceous cutie we all recognize today. Her cartoons are funny, surreal, and are still just as entertaining as they were when they first were released.
Red
Many consider Red Hot Riding Hood Tex Avery's greatest cartoon. It's an interesting spin on the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood, with "Red", as she become known as, being a sexy nightclub singer, the big bad wolf having a huge crush on her instead of wanting to eat her, and the grandma being a man-chaser. The cartoon was censored for some of its highly-sexual content, and cut portions include the grandma marrying the wolf and having half-wolf, half-human children, which is still racy today, since it implies bestiality, and the wolf shooting himself in the end. Red went on to appear in a few other Tex Avery cartoons along side Droopy and the wolf, and seems to be a bit of an inspiration for the next character on this list, Jessica Rabbit.
