Udit and Aditya Narayan's Extravaganza Tour: A Review

Udit Narayan, the king of Bollywood playback singers recently charmed his way into Broward County, Florida. He danced, sang and generally entertained a crowd of over 2500 enthusiastic fans at the Faith Center Sunrise Music Theatre. Joining him were his son Aditya, his wife Deepa, Indian Idol Finalist Aditi Paul, Bollywood star Priti Jhangiani and show Anchor Mallika Malhotra. An all Indian crew from Bombay accompanied the stars, consisting of musicians Aaron Daniels, Dinesh D. Khanderar, Deepak Parab, Santosh More and Rajendra Purohit, choreographer Nigar Shah, assistant choreographer Suchi Shah, and dance performers Karisma Laveri, Jessica Vegas, Rahul Thombre and Dev Thabe. The concert lasted three hours and was hosted by "Johnny and Derek" of Gemini Productions Inc. This was the third of many stops the concert had on it travels through the States and Canada. Their musical tour is ongoing in the States and Canada with concert dates extending through mid May, 2008.

Udit Nayaran sings in over 8 languages and has been the voice behind most of Bollywood's movie actors for more than two decades. His voice is particularly suited for such actors as: Shah Rukh Khan (especially in Don & Veer Zaara), Saif Ali Khan (in Hum Tum), and Aamir Khan (in Lagaan).

Mallika Malhotra opened the event dressed in a black and gold shimmering dress. She was followed by Aditi Paul dressed in a red and gold outfit who warmed up the audience with lively tunes and recent pop hits.
