You don't have be rich and famous to indulge yourself every now and then, such as getting a spa treatments service called the Ice Cream Pedicure in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Ice Cream Pedicure is one of those treatments that can be scheduled at The Spa at Ballantyne Resort in Charlotte, North Carolina for a reasonable price. Here's more about the Ice Cream Pedicure, one of the spa treatments from this resort in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Getting The Sweet Application

I have never had spa treatments before other than a massage one time, and hadn't much interest either. Then I heard about the Ice Cream Pedicure given in Charlotte, North Carolina at The Spa at Ballantyne Resort, and had to try it.

Marilyn Flanders, who's been doing these pedicures for four years, would give me the 50 minute spa treatment, and made me feel really comfortable throughout the process, which she recommends that people get once a month. She told me that it's not a rare thing for men to come to her for these kind of spa treatments, proclaiming this treatment helps to keep the feet in good shape and nice-looking.

The spa was playing mood music to help relax the guests. I chose to have my feet pampered in chocolate, though I could've chosen two other flavors like strawberry kiwi (the top choice) and pomegranate. The flavor selections change about twice a year. Chocolate ice cream flavor would be used throughout the process.

My spa treatment began right after taking off my shoes and socks, taking place on a state of the art, top of the line pedicure chair (that gives massages if you wish) that doesn't use pipes for the whirlpool water stream. For about ten minutes, my feet were soaked in the water with a chocolate fizz scoop ball, which looked like a scoop of ice cream (pictured). The water would soon turn into a malt-like color and had a mild chocolate scent, though it's not real ice cream. It felt a bit hot at first, but soon became lukewarm, and I could feel the constant water jets on my feet as they were soaked during this spa treatment in Charlotte, North Carolina.
