Heidi Klum was born in June of 1973 near the North Rhine in Westphalia, Germany. She speaks both German and English. She is a German supermodel, fashion designer, actress, television producer, and a painter.
Heidi Klum burst onto the fashion and modeling scene when she first appeared on the pages of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and also in the Victoria's Secret catalog. Besides her modeling career she has had a television and movie career. She played Michael J. Fox's girlfriend for six episodes of Spin City. In some of these episodes she would yodel after she had sex. Klum also has had bit parts in movies such as Ella Enchanted and the Life and Death of Peter Sellers. In 2006, she played herself in the big screen version of the Devil Wore Prada.
Heidi Klum isn't just an actress when it comes to television. She is also a host and an executive producer. Starting in 2004, she became host and one of the executive of the smash reality hit show Project Runway. Project Runway gives up and coming fashion designers a chance to show their work at New York Fashion Week and to get money in order to create and design their own line of clothing. Project Runway has become so successful that Heidi received two Emmy nominations for its first and second seasons. The show has just wrapped its third season although the second part of the season three finale has not aired yet.
