God Sends Message to Teenagers in Abbotsford; Rock is the Devil's Music

In British Columbia about 1,000 teenagers came together at a church in Abbotsford to hear a famous rock band called Starfield perform. The teenagers took part in what they call "dancing" by jumping up and down and bumping into each other and other strange rituals that teenagers have. As
the concert got more and more rowdy the church just couldn't handle it. Suddenly the floor collapsed and many teenagers fell through the floor and plummeted into the basement.

Seconds after a few dozens kids fell into the basement the lighting and sound system followed them in the depths of the church. It is being reported that about 40 people were injured, mostly bruises and broken bones, but one 41 year old woman was critically injured.

The church's pastor insists that there have been many concerts like this one before and they have never had a problem with the building before.

As a church goer myself the symbolism is not lost on me. Teenagers falling through the ground, into the basement, at a rock concert can only mean one thing. If you go to rock concerts you are going to hell. That's right rock music is the devil's music. I don't care if Starfield is a Christian rock band, Christian rock is an oxymoron. The members of Starfield might claim to be Christians but all rock music is satanic. I bet if you play Starfield's music backwards there will be all kinds of bad messages. Messages about girls wearing skirts and boys wearing their shirts untucked!

It's bad enough that these kids would listen to this sinister rock music but on top of that they had the gall to dance too!

Whatever happened to the good old days when everyone would stay seated and quiet at church? What happened to some good old fashioned hymns? Kids these days think they're allowed to show emotion and have fun. Who raised these kids?

I'll tell you who raised these kids. Video games and movies raised these kids. I blame video games and movies for turning our kids into little demons. With games like Guitar Hero it's no wonder the kids like the devil's music.

At first I was like woah, this guy is off the deep end---and the shock value is probably what got me to add .4 cents to this article's earnings and I'm like, woah don't be too quick to point the finger at God, then I realise it was a well-written piece of humor. ROTFLOL. Good one!

Gee . . . this sounds like a crisis of biblical proportions (a la Ghostbusters). Based on the cranked-up tunes in our own church on a Sunday morning . . . . I wonder what sort of warning this is. ;-)

I dont think Christian Rock music is bad. Its not satanic. Video Games & movies have nothing to do with what kind of music we listen to & dancing isnt bad either. Whats wrong with standing in church to praise God? I couldnt sit all stiff necked in church and trying to praise God. I dont dance during church but at a concert its fine! As long as the music is bringing praise to God, God loves it! Music that doesnt praise God is rap & hip hop music that cusses. I'm not saying theirs anything wrong with rap, hip hop & pop or country, but when you start talking about short skirts & divorcing 15 people that doesnt glorify God.

If rock music is of the Devil, why is David Bowie God? Ha Ha! I've run circles round you, logically.

Whoa Lee, I owe you an apology. Thanks for clarifying that your article was not serious! I guess from being in the crowd on Friday night (3 of my sons were in the front section to the left of the collapse) I'm a little sensitive to the information that is circulating.

thank you for clarifying that you were being sarcastic...I was getting a little worried the more i read.... :)

I hope everybody realizes this is in the humor section. I'd hate for people to take me seriously. Never take anything I say seriously.
