Wireless technology makes our daily lives simpler. We can talk wirelessly, listen wirelessly, and we can send data and print files wirelessly. Having Bluetooth printer adapters can make it more convenient to print files. Not only do consumers rid themselves of tangling cords, but consumers can take advantage of better organization moving the printer away from the main computer.

Bluetooth printer adapters can be found at most computer supply stores such as Office Max, Best Buy and Circuit City. The devices connect to Bluetooth USB adapters on computers or other devices capable of printing such as PDAs or cell phones with Windows operating platforms.

Canon is a leader in accessories. They carry a variety of products to connect you via Bluetooth. For roughly $80, consumers who own a Canon printer and wish to print via Bluetooth can purchase an adapter that will allow printing done from computers or other capable devices. Its slim design allows it to be taken along with your computer accessories without taking up extra room. The Bluetooth printer adapter simply plugs into the back of the printing port on the printer, connects to a computer's USB adapter or other device and printing is now possible.

The HP line features the model BT1300 which connects to any USB or parallel capable printer. This is moderately convenient for heavy users of Bluetooth technology as it can be taken on the road and plugged into any printer. However, because of the parallel capabilities, the price of this device is much higher than the standard USB adapters. This particular adapter can run anywhere from $150 to over $200.
