Road Bike / Race Bike Review: Giant TCR A1 (Advanced 1) Road Bike

Do You Need the $4500 Giant TCR A1 Road Bike? Well, Would You like to Go Fast?

Utilizing the ultra-light Shimano Dura-Ace Component group and lightest integrated seat mast design, as well as a proprietary T-800 composite frame, the Giant TCR A1 road bike is one of the fastest and most nimble road bikes on the market. Major magazines point to the Giant TCR A1 as
being fast, responsive, and precise, with none of the usual "buts..." Make no mistake that this road bike is bred to be a racer through and through. Giant bicycles have for nearly thirty years been a growing and exceptional company which provides bicycles such as the TCR A1 (TCR Advanced) as well as road bikes, mountain bikes and leisure rides that continuously surpass expectations. The Giant TCR A1 is no exception.

Utilizing Shimano's Dura-Ace line of products, Giant has managed to shave weight on their Giant TCR A1 to a level that will make even the most dedicated gram counters take notice. The wheelset on the Giant TCR A1 road bike consists of Mavic Ksyrium Elite rims, hubs, and spokes, and Michelin Pro Race3 tires. Carbon parts consist of the fork and seatpost, and the frame is available in sizes ranging from extra small to extra large. Giant would do well to note, however, that most riders of the TCR A1 center most negative comments on the limited sizing available. While for novice riders, this isn't an issue, racers tend to prefer to choose their frame size from a much wider array of bicycles.
