As the democratic primary race carries on, I think one fact is becoming more and more apparent: Barack Obama cannot beat John McCain in the general election. Hillary Clinton has the best chance against McCain and it is becoming painfully obvious. Although the Obama camp claims to have the most number of popular votes, I think the super delegates are finally starting catch on and will swing Clinton's way when push comes to shove. The Presidency is at stake and they know it. We can't let McCain win.

Here are the main reasons why Obama will lose in November:

Battle Ground States and blue collar workers. Hillary beat Obama in Pennsylvania by nearly 10 percentage points, even after he outspent her three to one. Obama supporters argue that he "cut her lead" in Pennsylvania, but to cut a lead that was astronomical to begin with is still a huge problem for the Obama camp. Cutting a lead and still losing by almost ten points is dismal, in fact. It's become the elephant in the room. Even Obama supporters will hesitate and stammer when confronted with the facts: Hillary has won the big battleground states and electoral votes that are needed to win in November. Period. She has the support of Latinos and blue collar workers. Obama does not. Why won't they acknowledge this?

Experience. Military leaders such as Wesley Clark believe that Hillary has the best plan to get out of Iraq. Even rabid Republican Anne Coulter has stated that she would support Hillary over McCain. Barack Obama is the least experienced candidate. That is an indisputable fact. His slip-ups, such as the "bitter" comments that he made really showcase his inexperience and his lack of savvy on the world's stage. His poor performance during the last debate also showcased this deficiency. He appeared angry and flustered. Hillary shined. She thinks fast and speaks eloquently.

I'm a Republican. I think we got our wish. We voted for Obama in the Dem. Primary in hope that it's easier to beat him than the Clinton.

What a great piece! One of the best Ive read on the subject. I just wish you and I were right in our thinking that the superdelegates were going to vote for the candidate that can win the general election. In my view, they all should have waited till this week to come out in support of someone. They should have allowed the voters to decide this nomination. MI and FL should have been dealt with in the right and just way, but were not. Now the Party will have its work cut out in the coming years in repairing the damage. Hillary was a great candidate, an ideal candidate, and I am deeply saddened to see her go. My hopes lie with her reserved delegates, perhaps something will come out during the summer, causing a fall out? Maybe theres hope yet!

I'm a Democrat, but not hard and fast - sorta like Obama's Muslim ... I mean Christian ... I mean anti-Wright ... I mean African (wait, dual citizen) ... American, that is. The bottom line is I am voting for McCain and I will encourage my fellow Democrats to do the same for the sake of our country. The Democratic party and the popular media have tried to force feed us Obama. But we are not blind. Obama does not have the character to be our country's president. He is a power hungry, ungrateful person who is being supported by people who should be looking out for our nation's interest but instead are throwing a frat party with the new big man on campus. Get over Obama and stand up for our country. We are America, not Kenya!!

I am trying really hard to imagine voting for Obama in November. At this point it looks like he's got the nomination. In my opinion, Obama always acted more entitled to the nomination than Hillary. I watched and listened to his campaign do and say the most negative, abusive things about Hillary while the adoring media went along with it. Mr. Obama silently injected race into the campaign and then blamed Bill and Hillary Clinton. Between Rev Wright, Ayers, Rezco and god only know what else, i think the republicans have enough to sink the Obama ship. Once again the democrats manage to pick a loser. I agree with many that the red states will go to McCain and the Dems will be lucky to take Ohio, New Jersey. I think Florida is lost already to the republicans.(thanks Obama for refusing a re-vote-we know what a uniter you are). Hello President McCain.

I strongly believe that obama cannot win against Mccain in November. He has trouble with the jewish vote, the elderly vote, the hispanic vote, the asian vote, the white collar vote....He lost California, Florida, Michigan, Pennyslyvania, New Hampshire, Ohio - he lost so many of the BIG states and the SWING states......no way he can win the general election. Plus, there's no caucuses in the general.

Putting Obama on the same ticket with Clinton would sink them both. Clinton needs to run with a good strong vp like Clark or Edwards.

Look, same people perpetuating the same MSM myths and saying that Clinton would be a better president? WHAT?! Who cares if Obama can win, you don't vote based on who can win, you vote based on who you believe in. You people must be smoking crack. Obama makes a few slip ups and gets castrated, while Clinton lies at every junction possible and people still say she's the better candidate. If you are dumb enough to believe that the President alone has the sole influence on the economy, and because he's never dealt with economic issues himself that he could not; you sir are an idiot. Presidents have advisers, that's why they don't have to be versed in EVERY ASPECT OF BEING A PRESIDENT. Yes Wright has hurt Obama, but umm, hello, John Hagee is McCain's pastor, he could not possibly ever say anything negative about Wright when his own pastor is a Zionist, someone who wants to wipe out the population of Iran and other parts of the world just to fulfill the bible's prophecy. I also don't

The albatross that is Jeremiah Wright has all but sealed the deal for him. I feel for the superdelegates. They have a tough choice to make if Hillary wins the next few primaries. A huge number of Democrats are going to be mad no matter who gets the nomination.

I don't really like any of the 3 this year, but must vote for anyone to stop Obama.

DEBATE! DEBATE!! DEBATE!!! It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP. Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her Pennsylvania victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources. But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up. Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what i

You Might Be An Idiot! :-) If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history. You Might Be An Idiot! :-) If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people. You Might Be An Idiot! :-) If you think that Obama with n
