Best Foods for a Mother's Day Picnic

Mother's Day is quickly arriving and many families are trying to plan the perfect Mother's Day celebration. Why not plan a picnic? Enjoying a bright spring day at mom's favorite Park, Lake Spot or in her own back yard would be an enjoyable day for the whole family. Here are two picnic foods ideas to consider.

Best Foods for a Mother's Day Picnic Idea No.1

Why not give mom the day off from cooking and go to KFC. Kentucky Fried Chicken is a favorite among many families. With KFC supplying the plates, napkins and forks mom and dad would have very little picnic preparation. With the variety bucket the customer can choose 3 of the 6 KFC favorites. Another great selection would be the variety big box meal. With 3 types of delicious KFC chicken, 2 individual sides and 2 biscuits this meal can satisfy even the biggest appetite and it includes a 32 oz. drink. Trying to save on money? Order several of these with extra plates and divide them up among the family members with smaller appetites. Take along a trash bag and some outdoor activities such as a Frisbee or bad mitten set and you'll have the makings of a wonderful carefree mother's day picnic to celebrate mom. Don't forget the camera.
