You're not alone if you hate to exercise. There are people that know that exercising is better for their health, so they motivate themselves to do it. Then there are the people that absolutely hate to exercise so they just don't do it. Exercising shouldn't be boring. It should be something that is fun, that motivates you to keep doing it on an every day basis and actually doesn't feel like it's excising at all. For those people that would exercise more if there was a more fun and accessible way to do it, is Wii fit and the Will Balance Board the answer? Will it encourage people to exercise more? For those that have heard of the Wii, you know that there have been many accounts of people, everyone from kids to the elderly, improving their health and exercising more just by using the Wii. I was doubtful about all the positive reviews about the Wii. However, I broke down and got one. If you haven't used the Wii yet, it's quite addicting. No, it doesn't feel like exercise either. After spending a couple of hours doing Wii Bowling, Wii Golf and Wii Tennis I was sore in spots I didn't even think that I would be sore in.
Will Wii Fit and the Wii Balance Board be an even better motivator to exercise than the Wii? The Wii Balance Board is wireless, and has sensors that detects your body weight and balance as you exercise to the games in Wii Fit. The Wii Balance Board allows you to check your Body Mass Index and your Wii Fit Age. This would be great motivators for people who never get their BMI checked to get an idea of what it is. Once you get an estimate of your BMI and your Fit Age, it may just keep you exercising more.
