The release of the alleged Jimi Hendrix sex tape is an attempt to make money on the Jimi Hendrix name. The authenticity of the tape does not matter; they are marketing it on the likeness of Jimi Hendrix. If the figure did not resemble or allegedly is Jimi Hendrix, the tape would not being making news. The sex tape has lots of ethical questions. Is it ethical for a company to sell sex tapes of dead people? Is it ethical to sell sex tape, marketed as involving a dead celebrity, when it is only alleged and the identity is not confirmed? Is it ethical to sell the alleged private moments of a dead celebrity to cash in on their name? Not to mention the ethical questions surrounding sext tapes in general.

Jimi Hendrix is considered to be one of the best guitarists to ever play the electric guitar. Hendrix died at the early age of 27 in 1970.
