The NBA playoffs are a great time for NBA fans to root for their home and favorite teams. It always starts in April and is a great way to show who the best team in the NBA is. For those who would like, I'm going to show you an inventive way to make your own personalized NBA playoff bracket. With just a few simple tools, you can set a bracket that with be the envy of all of your friends. Here is a guide to making an NBA playoff bracket.

The first thing you are going to need is a dry erase board. You will also need a group of markers that are erasable ink. You only need to use the black, blue, and red markers. The only other thing you need for your personalized NBA bracket is a dry erase board eraser or piece of paper towel. Once you have these items, you will now set up the board.

The first thing you need to know is that 8 teams from each conference (east and west) are on each side of the bracket. The 8 teams with best records (win-losses) from the west go on the left side and the 8 teams with the best record from the east go on the right side. The first best team in each conference plays the 8th best team, then the 2nd plays the 7th, then the 3rd plays the 6th, and the 4th plays the 5th best team. You will draw 8 lines 3 inches apart on each of the far ends of the dry erase board about 1 inch in from the edge. You will do this with the black marker. You will then connect the first two horizontal lines by a vertical line. You will then do that to the 3rd and 4th lines, then the 5th and 6th lines and then the 7th and 8th lines. You now have the first round of the playoffs. Now do this to the other side of the board.
