Now if you are trying to think of something to give to someone on Mother's Day who is not your own mom then yellow roses make an excellent choice. They are often given to new moms as a symbol of congratulations and the color yellow indicates friendship. This makes them an excellent choice to send to a dear friend that you have who is a mom.
