In this tutorial I will show you how to create an MP3 player that looks like a cassette tape. Your buttons are on the bottom of the cassette tape. When a song plays, you will see the name of it on the label of the cassette tape. This is really cool. If you still like your cassette tapes, this MP3 player would make a great addition to your MySpace profile. I will show you how to create this cassette tape player and how to add it to your MySpace page. Step One - Loading the Cassette Tape Generator Page
The first step to creating this MP3 player is loading the generator page. Click this link to load the page. When the page loads, you will see the cassette tape player. On the bottom of it you will see the control buttons. The yellow label is where the title of your song will appear.
Step Two - Creating the Cassette Tape Player
The next step is to create the cassette tape. The first thing that you will need to do is select the colors for the tape. You can leave the cassette tape the color that it is or you can change it. The first color box is the color for the tape background. Click the box and click the color that you want. Then click the OK button.
The next color is the edge color of the tape, select the color that you want for the edge the same way you did before. The last color is the color for the label on the tape. Click that color box and select the color that you want for the label. Then click the OK button to close it.
The next section is your play options. The first option is asking if you want the player to play in shuffle mode. Drop the Shuffle box down and click yes or no. The second option is asking if you want it to start automatically when the profile page loads. Drop that box down and make your selection. The last option is asking if you want the public to hear your music.
In the bottom fields, you will need to enter the urls for your MP3s and the title of the MP3s. Once you have all of the songs added that you want to be in your playlist, click the Add to Playlist button. Then click the get code button at the bottom. On the next page you will need to login if you have an account or click the Skip button if you do not have an account. On the next page you will need to copy the code in the box.
