The holiday season comes but once a year. One of the highlights of the season is the decorations people put up. I've seen houses with great light decorations. I've hung a few myself. I hate having to go out in the cold, but I'm proud with the end results nevertheless.

If you want to put up decorations the fast and easy and comfortable way, the best place to start is by getting the traditional Christmas tree. From there you can hang as many lights and ornaments as you want. Afterward, turn out your lights and enjoy the holiday mood your Christmas tree brings. I've always enjoyed looking at Christmas tree decorations in the dark.

Try the full Christmas trees, like the "Douglas Fir Prelit Christmas Tree" available at ChristmasTreesGalore.com for prices ranging from $149.99 to $1,024.99.

Then, if you want a thinner tree, try the "Slim Flocked Christmas Tree" on the same site for prices ranging from $199.98 to $649.98. Each branch is dusted with artificial frost and snow, and it looks great.

Now, if you feel like you don't have the energy to put up your decorations yourself, this "Ashley 6.5 ft Clear Lights Christmas Tree" for the bargain price of $99.98 is great for you.

You find some great Christmas tree specials on ChristmasLightsEtc.com, like the $179.00 "6.5' Full Pre-Lit Cumberland Fir Tree, 500 Clear Lamps" or the "6.5' Full Pre-Lit Hawthorne Fir Tree, 500 Clear Lamps" for $288.00. Then, of course, there's some great Tiffany trees, like the "6.5' Full Pre-Lit Tiffany Tree, 750 Multicolored Lamps" for $280.00 or the "7.5' Slender Pre-Lit Tiffany Tree, 600 Clear Lamps" for $240.00.

While artificial trees are great, they keep the pine needles and sap on your rug down, but it may feel more like the holidays if you use a real tree. Just like artificial trees can be found at any given convenience store or even your local grocery store, real trees can be found at tree stands anywhere.

Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year
